DESCRIPTION

ASTERIA, originally built in 1970 by Greek shipyard ANASTASSIADES & TSORTANIDES as a rescue tug, was converted into a luxury expedition yacht in 2000/2002 by Northport Engineering in New Zealand. Designed for world cruising without sacrificing style, she offers a tough exterior with a bright, comfortable interior. After nearly two decades of global voyages, she was purchased by her current owner in 2019 and underwent a major refit, including a redesign by French firm Charles Zana, new paint, decks, and aesthetic upgrades. Her mechanical systems are in excellent condition, with a full engine rebuild in 2022 and further updates in 2023. ASTERIA has completed remarkable voyages, including the Northwest Passage and Antarctica, and won the Boat International Voyager Award in 2021. A commercially registered charter vessel, she is known for exploring remote destinations and prestigious locations like St. Barts and Monaco. Stylish, robust, and adventure-ready, ASTERIA is perfect for an owner seeking new horizons.
